Dr. Carter was born and raised in Adel, Georgia. He graduated with honors from Cook High School in 1999. He then obtained his BS in Biology in 2003 from Valdosta State University. He graduated from The Medical College of Georgia with his Doctorate in Dental Medicine in 2007, at which time he received an honor from the American Academy of Orofacial Pain and an honor from the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology. Upon graduation, he decided to continue his education in the Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at MCG to obtain additional clinical experience in areas such as dental implants and LV. conscious sedation. Dr. Carter currently resides in Colquitt County with his wife Cathy. He enjoys hunting, fishing, watching college (especially UGA) football, and spending time with his family.
