Being a dentist comes with great responsibilities, but it is also a rewarding and fulfilling profession. We have a unique opportunity to change a person’s perception of what a dental visit should be like. It is a great feeling to watch the transformation from a fearful patient to a relaxed, happy patient after a pain-free visit. We now have a patient who can maintain their oral health at home and is enthusiastic about returning for cleanings and exams every six months! I earned my bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in business management from Boston University before continuing on to Case Western Reserve University School of Dentistry for my Doctorate of Dental Surgery. As a fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, I am required to take continuing education above and beyond state minimum requirements in all areas of dentistry. I am also a mentor for CEREC® doctors classes, which enables me to stay at the forefront of dental procedures, materials, techniques, and research. This is important for patient care because it allows me to provide the highest quality, most dependable dentistry. My additional affiliations include the American Dental Association, Maryland State Dental Association, and the American Association of Implant Dentistry.
