Dr Donald Peterson

Being a dentist holds me to a higher standard. I always want to do the best work possible. I take pride in seeing dentistry that I did 25 years ago hold up through the “test of time.” I love it when a patient looks in the mirror and smiles at their newly repaired or improved teeth. These smiles are the reason I look forward to coming to the office each day, since I know they’re connected to a group of people I am honored to call my friends. I began my journey to become a dentist at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, where I earned my Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1985. Since then, I have earned the distinction of becoming a Master of the Academy of General Dentistry. To achieve this, I completed more than 1,000 hours of continuing education and passed a written exam. My additional affiliations include the American Dental Association, Maryland State Dental Association, and the Patuxent Dental Society.
