Dr. Candice (Balogh) Fehring is originally from Mentor, Ohio, where she attended Lake Catholic High School. She continued her education at University of Dayton, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Dr. Fehring then went on to attend The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, for her dental education. While there, she was an active member in the American Student Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the Dental Entrepreneurial Society. She was also an active member of Delta Sigma Delta Dental Fraternity and served as an ambassador on the admissions committee. After dental school, Dr. Fehring attended a General Practice Residency program at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. While in residency she received an advanced education in Oral Surgery, Endodontics, Pediatric Dentistry, Periodontics, Implant Dentistry, and Prosthodontics. Dr. Fehring is currently an active member of the American Dental Association, the Ohio Dental Association, and the Lorain County Dental Society. She is also a life-long member of the Delta Sigma Delta Dental Fraternity, as well as an active participant in the Westshore Dental Study Club, Women in Dentistry Study Club and Spear Education Study Club. As a mentor for CEREC Doctors and participant in the Spear Faculty Club, Dr. Candice loves to teach and mentor others in many advanced clinical continuing education courses around the country. Dr. Candice and her husband, Ian, have three adorable children, who keep them quite busy and happy. Her hobbies include Boating, Health and Fitness, Snow Skiing, and Cooking and Baking. Dr Fehring has thoroughly enjoyed getting to know all our wonderful patients and families and she looks forward to building lasting relationships and treating them for years to come. In her spare time, she is the Coordinator of The Deeper Dive Moms and Women’s group at her church.
