Dr Thomas G. Leatherman

Dr Tom feels so fortunate to be practicing dentistry now with all of the new and improved techniques available to dentists today. He is even more fortunate to be surrounded by such a caring staff. They really do treat each of our patients like family; always striving to help our wonderful patients reach optimal oral health. Dr Tom feels proud to follow in the footsteps of his father, Dr Albert Leatherman. After receiving his bachelor’s degree from Miami of Ohio, Dr Tom earned a DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) at Case Western Reserve University in 1985. He is currently a member of the American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association and the Lorain County Dental Society. He is also a mentor for CEREC Doctors and is in the Faculty Club and runs a Study Club with local Doctors and Specialists for Spear Education. Dr. Tom and his wife, Judy, love spending their time together and with friends visiting new places and attending concerts or shows. They have two grown children, Laura and Tommy, who are the joys of their lives! Laura is married to Aaron Ramsey – a wonderful addition to our family. Dr Tom’s hobbies include music appreciation and performing (playing keyboards in several bands, most notably FireSide CLE, Cloud9 CLE , photography, camping, rafting, fly-fishing, computers, and general gadgetry (his nickname is Dr. Gadget).
