Dr. Alexis Dion received her BS in Microbiology, Immunology and Molecular Genetics from UCLA and she received her dental degree from UCLA School of Dentistry. Dr. Dion enjoys all aspects of dentistry but especially extractions. One of her favorite parts about dentistry is the patient interaction. She loves meeting new patients and building relationships for years to come. It’s rewarding for her when her patient’s dental needs are met or have exceeded their expectations. Dr. Dion decided to pursue a career in dentistry because she feels it is both challenging and rewarding. Her goal is to restore her patients’ oral health and eliminate pain, while using her creativity to create beautiful smiles. She also felt this was a great career for her because she has a talent of being empathetic, making people feel comfortable and relaxed around her, and that helps make patients feel comfortable. In her free time, Dr. Dion loves to stay active by going to the gym or hiking. She enjoys being outdoors and camping and also considers herself to be a foodie and loves trying new restaurants or learning a new recipe to cook at home.
