Dr Deep Patel

Originally from India, Dr Deep has grown up in Southeast Melbourne and completed a Scholars program in Biomedical Science at Monash University, before graduating as a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Melbourne in 2020. During his degree, he was awarded multiple awards including Edward Brooke Nicholls Prize for Anatomy, The William Leslie Elvins Prize for Oral Surgery, Mervyn Townsend Memorial Prize in Orthodontics and Oral Medicine Academy of Australasia Dental Graduate Award of Excellence. Before joining our practice in 2024, Dr Deep has serviced communities across Victoria, including Melbourne, Shepparton and Mornington Peninsula as well as volunteering for a dental outreach in rural Nepal. Dr Deep strives to get patients calm and comfortable while providing them with the highest standard of comprehensive dental care. He enjoys all aspects of general dentistry with a particular interest in aesthetic and restorative dentistry. He believes in offering patients a tailored treatment plan while educating and empowering them to achieve their oral health goals. This is why he has been able to help many anxious patients of all ages get their smile and confidence back. Dr Deep loves keeping up-to-date on emerging technology and techniques to ensure his patients are comprehensively cared for. He is currently undergoing further study in Orthodontics. Outside of work, Dr Deep is often found spending time in nature (hiking or stargazing) with his wife or exploring ancient wisdom and philosophy. Dr Deep is fluent in English, Hindi and Gujarati.
