Orla graduated from the University of Queensland in 2006 with first class honours. Since then, she has worked in several dental practices in Brisbane. In addition to working as a dentist, Orla received her PhD in the field of Oral Cancer from the University of Queensland in 2012. She has published her work in prestigious journals such as Scientific Reports, Clinical Cancer Research and the Journal of Investigative Dermatology. Whilst at university, she received many academic and clinical awards, including the Australian Dental Association Prize for highest marks across all subjects in 2004. In addition to working at Brisbane CBD Dental Clinic, Orla is currently a post-doctoral research fellow at the Translational Research Institute at the Princess Alexandra Hospital. She is available for appointments on Wednesday and Friday. Dr Orla is also an examiner for the dental fellowship (FRACDs). Providing Quality Care Orla enjoys all aspects of general dentistry , with a special interest in minimally invasive and preventative dentistry . She prides herself on making sure that every patient is completely at ease and relaxed during their treatment. Her philosophy is for high end, quality care.
