Dr William Yiu

Dr William Yiu graduated with degrees in Bachelor of Medical Science from UNSW and Doctor of Dental Surgery from Melbourne University, and most recently Graduate Diploma of Dental Implantology. He is fluent in both Mandarin and Cantonese. His vision is to provide cost effective, comprehensive and individualised dental treatment for his patients. With his caring and gentle nature, he treats everyone to the highest of standards. He is readily able to connect with new patients from different ethnic backgrounds. He has worked as a dental officer at the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department of the first university affiliated hospital and has gained extensive experience in oral surgery – this includes the removal of wisdom teeth and implant placement therapy. William prides himself in providing minimally invasive dental treatments, and offers expert opinions and treatment in the fields of dental implants and surgical extractions of wisdom teeth. He is also an expert in emergency and oral rehabilitation treatments including root canal therapy, crown and bridge, and clear Invisalign or fixed orthodontic treatment of teeth alignment. He has attended many professional development training courses since graduating, keeping up to date with the latest 21st-century profession of dentistry that he has to offer. William’s interests outside dentistry include playing the piano which he has enjoyed since the age of 5 and also teaches piano. He lives on Sydney’s North Shore, Chatswood, local to the practice. He enjoys swimming, NBA basketball…and the occasional Karaoke performance on stage.
