Dr Ruth Drakes graduated from the university of Manchester UK in 2001. Having spent 2 years working in general practice in London and Plymouth she moved to Australia in 2005. She has worked in private practice in the Coffs Harbour and Grafton areas since then, joining the Dental Centre in 2017. Ruth enjoys working with her patients to achieve optimal oral health and their particular treatment goals. She enjoys providing general preventative dental care, restorative and cosmetic treatment; aiming to deliver dentistry in a calm relaxed manner. She regularly attends further education courses in a wide range of subjects. Outside of Dentistry Ruth is a keen reader and enjoys long distance running, recently completing the Honolulu marathon.
