Dr Rana Alsalem

Dr Rana Alsalem graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Damascus university, Syria. She further completed 2 years degree in endodontics (root canal therapy) at the same university. Dr. Rana finished 1-year foundation training in the United Kingdom, Yorkshire deanery in 2010. She passed her Australian Dental Council exam in 2014. And recently she completed a master’s degree course in Aesthetic dentistry at the famous King’s College in London. She has MJDF England certificate, and she is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons in England. She held educational supervisor position and had the responsibility of training newly qualified dentists between 2015-2018. As for her interests, Rana enjoys practicing conservative dentistry and applying the minimally invasive techniques. She strongly believes in prevention and early intervention to prevent dental decay. She has interest in aesthetic dentistry. And she aims to provide treatments that are functional, look and feel good and fit each patient as an individual. She is experienced, caring, patient and gentle. Outside work, she likes running, exercising and reading. Although her 18 months old does not allow much time for that. She enjoys her daughter’s company and appreciate every minute they spend together.
