Dr Peishan Jiang completed her undergraduate dental degree with academic excellence from Griffith University in Queensland. She worked as a general dentist in Brisbane prior to pursuing postgraduate studies in periodontics, earning her Doctor of Clinical Dentistry in Periodontology. During her postgraduate education Peishan was active in the clinical teaching and supervision of dentistry students and played a key role in the Academic Policy Steering Group. She has presented her research at the International Association of Dental Research conference.
