Dr Lourens Du Preez was born and raised in Durban, South Africa and studied at the University of Stellenbosch in the beautiful Western Cape Province. He graduated in 2003 and owned a practice in his home town until 2008. Dr Du Preez and his wife Theresa immigrated to Australia in 2008. They lived and worked in several towns around the north and south of Tasmania and Far North Queensland before deciding to settle in Hobart in 2015. Dr Du Preez has a post graduate diploma in orthodontics and successfully complete the primary exams for the Royal Australian College of Dental Surgeons.
