Dr Tony Hill took over this dental practice from Dr Nick Proud in April 2004. Previously the practice had been owned by Dr John Austwick for many years. Dr Tony Hill graduated as a dentist from the University of Bristol, UK in 1988 and worked in the city of Bristol for over 12 years. Following a 10 year friendship with two Hobart dentists, Dr Hill and his wife Teresa immigrated to Hobart in 2001 when he joined the dental practice of Drs Fitzgerald and Gurner. Dr Hill holds qualifications with the Royal College of Surgeons of England and Membership of the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners (UK). He annually attends a number of postgraduate training lectures and courses in Hobart, interstate and overseas.
