Dr Ken is family orientated and has always sought to provide a relaxed and caring atmosphere at Graceville Dental Practice. Aside from expert general dental care, Dr Ken is trained in Orthodontics and Dental Implants. Ken Martin has a family history in the medical field, so it was only natural he would pursue the profession of dentistry. As a trusted, well-known local family dentist since 1989, Ken has built a sound reputation for his friendly, caring approach to family dentistry. He focuses on the actual person behind the teeth, and says his approach isn’t just about the dentistry, it’s more about spending the time to understand who the patient is, to be empathetic and put them at ease during their visit to the dentist. He loves hearing stories about patients’ families and children and having a laugh with you. He sometimes shares patients’ grief as well. Ken enjoys all types of family dentistry, including orthodontics, root canals, crown and bridge and he also manages the practice. His patients span from children’s first visits to oral health care for our more mature patients. He enjoys the challenges of the job, and his goal is to ensure patients are pain-free and functional. Ken finds dentistry rewarding in all its forms, because it helps improve patients’ lives through receiving the right advice and options for their stage in life.
