Cath completed her Bachelor degree in Dentistry at the University of Queensland in 1997 and went on to work in private practice in the small town of Jimboomba just outside Brisbane. Cath continued her Dental career in the public sector, working at the Redcliffe Dental Hospital. Here she gained valuable experience in the school dental system working in Dental Vans and overseeing Dental Therapists in the school based dental clinics. In 2000, Cath moved to Canberra and worked as a civilian dentist at the Royal Military College, Duntroon. In 2003, Cath moved back to Brisbane with her family and worked for the Airforce at the Amberley RAAF Base near Ipswich before the birth of her first child. Following a period of maternity leave, Cath and her family moved to Newcastle and fell in love with the friendly people and beautiful coastline. Cath has worked at Charlestown Dental Care since 2007. Since having her own family, Cath has furthered her interest in providing dental care for the whole family unit.
