Dr Bree Belford currently specializes in IV Sedation and Pain Control for dentistry and is one of the most experienced practitioners in the field of sedation for dentistry. Dr Belford maintains full-time practice for over 100 dental surgeries in Sydney. He was Co-Director of Emergency Medicine at Mona Vale Hospital and Acting Director of Emergency Medicine at Campbelltown Hospital in the 1990's before shifting to providing procedural anaesthetic and sedation services for a number of medical and gynaecology clinics and dental practices. Dr Belford was born in the USA and grew up in Connecticut. After obtaining a physics degree, he went on to study and practice Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture in Los Angeles, California. He studied Medicine at the University of Newcastle and is a Career Medical Officer (CMO) in Emergency Medicine. He has worked in a number of hospitals in NSW both on a staff and locum basis. His other major interest is Martial Arts, having begun training in Karate at the age of 12. He currently holds the ranks of Rokkudan (6th Degree Black Belt) in Karate and Shodan (1st Degree Black Belt) in Aikido. He is also an active stock market trader.
