Dr Navya Prakhya strongly believes and keeps into practice, her skill set towards painless dentistry. She is popular for her most gentle touch one can ever experience in a dentist's chair. Her calm and caring personality with a lovable smile makes her patients feel immediately comfortable. Navya is passionate about providing high quality and personalized patient care with a keen interest in minimally invasive restorative and preventive dentistry. She bases her treatment approach over the simple fact that prevention is better than cure. Helping patients of all ages to achieve higher standards of oral hygiene is her priority. She gives utmost priority to patients' comfort, while in the dental chair, and shows unrivaled empathy towards her patients' dental needs and goals. Navya has a special interest for Root Canal Therapies, and takes pride in performing the treatments with ease. Being the mother of two beautiful children Mayukh and Mihira, Navya is well aware of the challenges of kids' dental problems and gels with kids instantly. This enables her to manage them efficiently in the dentist's setting. Since graduating in 2006, Navya has had an extensive private practice experience in India up until 2011 and moved to Australia after marrying her man, Dr Phani Prakhya. Having cleared the Australian Dental Council Examination, Navya has worked for NSW Health at Kempsey and Port Macquarie hospitals for about 8 months before going on Maternity leave. She has resumed clinical dentistry since late 2019 and works alongside her husband in all of our clinics. Apart from being a full-time mum in her spare time, Navya loves shopping, listening music, singing and watching thriller movies.
