Dr Kate Smith

All her efforts, from the day she opened the practice until today, have been driven by two main desires. 1. People should be able to smile without feeling embarrassed. 2. The Dental Lounge @ Robina should be a lovely place where nervous patients feel safe. Those two things have helped shape the team she has built, the dental services they provide and the environment they work in. Dr Smith gained her degree from the University of Queensland in 2000 with honours, and has since practiced in private practices in Queensland and NSW. She also spent a period of time in South East Asia performing much needed volunteer dental work in remote villages where she met her husband. Today her experience is broad and covers most aspects of dentistry. Dr Smith has also incorporated Invisalign technologies to her extensive knowledge base. Dr Smith frequently attends advanced dental courses keeping up to date with the latest technologies and techniques. When away from the practice, she loves spending time with her young family and her beautiful horses. She can often be found on the weekends at various equestrian events, showing her horses and competing, a passion she has had since childhood.
