Constantine has more than 20 years experience as a dentist and has specialised in periodontics and implant dentistry for the last 17 years. He was educated in England and qualified from Bristol university in 1998 and won numerous prizes for his research project carried out at University of California, San Francisco. After several years practicing general dentistry in the United Kingdom, he undertook specialist training in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry at the world-renowned Eastman Dental Institute, University College London. He was awarded a Masters of Clinical Dentistry with Distinction. Alongside his specialist practice, he has held teaching positions at the UCL Eastman Dental Institute for ten years mentoring the specialist trainees in Periodontology and Masters students. He was also an accredited examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh examining would-be specialist periodontist. More recently, he has been a clinical demonstrator for the graduate programme (Doctor of Dental Surgery) and the Doctorate programme (Doctor of Clinical Dentistry) in Periodontology at the University of Melbourne. His clinical interests and expertise are in periodontal tissue regeneration, soft tissue and bone grafting and dental implants. He has published in peer-reviewed journals and lectured nationally and internationally. In addition to English, Constantine is also fluent in Mandarin, Hokkien and Malay. Outside of work, he loves spending family time with his wife and two young children.
