Dr Tommy Chow

Dr Tommy loves seeing his patients leave with a smile on their face! He’s passionate about putting his patients at ease, while empowering them to have a comprehensive understanding of their oral condition. A Family Tradition Dr Tommy’s mother was a dental assistant, and he would spend time there before and after school. After some previous traumatic dental experiences, it would have been easy for him to dislike dentists. After observing the dentist at his mother’s clinic, he was impressed by how skilled, kind, and gentle he was—and he did pain free dentistry! Dr Tommy was inspired to make dentistry a career and bring his compassionate approach to care to Seven Springs Dental . Education and Training Dr Tommy graduated in 2017 with his Bachelor of Oral Health from Griffith University, placing in the top 5 percentile, and earning the Griffith Award of Academic Excellence. He furthered his skills, prior to graduation, by working chairside, assisting in private dental clinics, to gain real world experience. His experience and studies have ensured his proficiency in all aspects of general dentistry . He enjoys all aspects of restorative and surgical dentistry, from minimally invasive to long-term preventative work. Dr Tommy has also done a Mini-Residency in Orthodontics (Excellence in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics) taught by world renowned orthodontist Dr. Derek Mahony.
