Born in Seoul, South Korea, Dr. Mun emigrated to Australia in 1977, attending Highgate Primary and Mount Lawley Senior High Schools in Perth. In 1991, he obtained his dental degree from the University of Western Australia, beginning his career as a public dental officer with Dental Health Services in Western Australia. Hyun went into private practice in 1994 and is currently a partner at Mi dental and at Como Dental Centre. Highly passionate about dentistry, he has completed numerous national and international courses, including advanced implant surgical courses. For a number of years, he was an Honorary Clinical Consultant and a Clinical Supervisor at the Oral Health Centre of WA (OHCWA) at the University of Western Australia. Hyun provides comprehensive general dental services and has special interests in dental implants and surgical removal of wisdom teeth under general anesthetic or IV sedation, and also nitrous oxide services. Hyun enjoys fishing, going to the beach with his family and walking their two dogs.
