Dr Curtis Soong

Dr. Soong has been practicing dentistry since 1984. Growing up in East Vancouver and having graduated from the University of British Columbia in 1983, he has continued to educate himself on the ongoing involvement of the dental realm. He has continued his education at multiple prestigious institutions across North America, such as the L.D. Pankey Institute in Florida and James Pride Institute in California. Dr. Soong’s constant interest in learning has evolved his career into becoming a certified Imtec mini-implant provider. The difference between a traditional implant and a mini-implant is the mini-implant is half the diameter of the traditional one but allows for the same support as a dental implant. Other than the mini-transplants, Dr. Soong’s most recent certification has been in providing Invisalign clear braces. These braces are clear rather than having the traditional metal, which causes for a more positive aesthetic appeal. Besides Dr. Soong’s passion for dentistry, he also has a passion of fitness and healthy living. He believes the health of the body and mouth are essential to our well being. Before the birth of his daughter, he was a certified fitness instructor for 24 years. Now, he continues his career in dentistry while residing in South Surrey with his family.
