I was raised in Montreal where I attended elementary school and high school, Vanier College, and my first year of McGill University. I participated in mostly competitive sports through high school and played college basketball for Vanier College. I transferred to the University of Western Ontario where I completed my degree in honors physiology and pharmacology/toxicology. I completed my degree in dentistry at the University of Toronto and then did a general practice residency at Mount Sinai Hospital. It is at Mount Sinai where I gained a lot of experience in oral surgery and IV sedation; we did rotations in the hospital through general dentistry, facial pain clinics, oral surgery, ENT, anesthesia, emergency room, and family practice. Through this residency I became very interested in doing general dentistry with sedation and combining the use of sedation with placement of implants, crown and bridge, and general dentistry into one practice. I moved to Peterborough where I practised for approximately 18 months, after which I relocated to Toronto where I practised for approximately nine months and then arrived in Barrie and opened a practice in August, 1987. My three children were raised in Barrie and participated in a number of sports and are all presently attending university. My leisure activities include golf, alpine skiing, snowshoeing, rowing and sailing. I look forward to meeting you soon.
