After moving to Toronto from his hometown of Edmonton, Dr. Lawrence Hung obtained his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of Toronto in 2013. He is passionate about providing personalized, comprehensive dental care for his patients in private practice. His areas of interest include sedation, oral surgery and implantology. Committed to enhancing patient care and developing his clinical knowledge, Dr.Hung strives to distinguish himself through staying active in organized dentistry. From 2013 to 2014, he completed a mini-residency at the University of Toronto Graduate Periodontics Clinic to perfect his technique for implant restoration. In 2017, he was awarded a Fellowship with the International Congress of Implant Dentistry, and in 2018, he became a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. He is also licensed to provide moderate sedation dentistry. Dr.Hung has traveled to Guatemala and the Dominican Republic to provide dental services to patients in need and hopes to continue providing his services to underprivileged populations. He lives with his wife, Dr. Hedy Norsen, and their two cockatiels, Jub Jub and Luna. In his free time, he enjoys yoga and snowboarding with his reluctant wife.
