Dr. Harleen Kaur Juneja was born in Hamilton, Ontario but spent majority of her childhood in Southwestern Ontario, growing up in the small township of Tecumseh. Dr. Juneja completed her undergraduate studies at Western University with a double major in Medical Sciences and Classical Studies, where she was awarded a gold medal for graduating top of her class. She continued her postgraduate education at Western and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) with Distinction from the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry. Dr. Juneja went on to complete a hospital-based residency in the United States, where she received further training in a variety of dental procedures and provided holistic care for patients with complex medical and treatment needs. Throughout her career, Dr. Juneja has always been passionate about giving back to the community and has been involved in many extracurricular activities. She was on the executive council for the Schulich Mentorship Program, Oral Health Total Health and Schulich Women in Dentistry. She has volunteered to provide free dental exams to High School students of vulnerable populations during her residency, as well as educating young children about the importance of oral health via programs like DOCSKids and the Teddy Bear Hospital Project. She has also completed research in dental pathology and has published her findings in the Journal of the Canadian Dental Association. Outside of the office, Dr. Juneja enjoys spending time with friends and family, trying new foods, playing badminton and soccer, travelling, and hanging out with her cat Sagwa.
