Dr. Sylvaine Chang attended the University of Waterloo for her undergraduate studies, where she obtained an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in both biology and psychology. She then continued her studies at the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry, University of Western Ontario, where she was given an early acceptance as one of the highest ranked applicants and completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with distinction. Dr. Chang is a proud member of The Canadian Dental Association, The Ontario Dental Association, and The Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario. She actively pursues continuing education courses to further advance her knowledge and skills in dental treatments and is committed to offering her patients the highest standard of care. She strives to approach dentistry with an attentive and gentle manner, providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere for her patients. Born in Hong Kong and raised in Canada, Dr. Chang is fluent in both English and Cantonese. In her spare time, Dr. Chang enjoys various artistic pursuits, travelling, and spending time with her family and friends.
