Dr. Jonathan Yu was born and raised in Windsor, ON. He completed his bachelors and masters degrees in chemistry at the University of Windsor where he was an active researcher and student leader in the Faculty of Science. Dr. Yu received his dental training from the University of Toronto. As the graduating dental class president and vice-president of communications of the Dental Students Society, he values helping his peers to become better clinicians by organizing root canal and restorative sessions to hone their skills. His contributions were acknowledged by the prestigious Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Award. Dr. Yu pursued dentistry because it brings joy to him when a healthy beautiful smile is brought to life and building trusted relationships with his patients and colleagues. Outside of work, Dr. Yu enjoys road cycling, soccer, and photography.
