Dr. California Barathy, known affectionately as Dr. Cali, is the proud owner and Principal Dentist of Grande Prairie Family Dental Clinic, a locally owned and operated practice that has been serving the Grande Prairie community for several years. After earning her dental degree, she successfully managed her own clinic in India. From 2004 to 2007, Dr. Cali worked with the World Health Organization in India, where she conducted oral health surveys in rural areas, performed research, and administered Atraumatic Restorative Treatment (ART). In 2012, she relocated to Canada and worked as a dental assistant while pursuing her Canadian dental certification. In 2021, Dr. Cali moved to Grande Prairie and took over as Principal Dentist at Grande Prairie Family Dental Clinic. Her areas of expertise include: Root canal treatment, Wisdom tooth removal, Invisalign, Dental implants, Crowns. She is an active member of the Canadian Dental Association and the College of Dental Surgeons of Alberta, and regularly attends workshops to stay current with the latest advancements in dental care. Dr. Cali is passionate about delivering a patient-centric dental experience, ensuring comfort, trust, and personalized care for every patient. Outside of work, she enjoys road trips, vacations, and spending quality time with her son and daughter.
