Dr. Nagpal is a board-certified specialist in Periodontics. She graduated from the University of Alberta with a Master’s degree in Periodontics. Dr. Nagpal started her dental career in India, where she received her bachelor’s degree in dentistry. Before making Canada her home, she earned her Masters in Periodontics (MDS) and practiced as a specialist in India. Dr. Nagpal is a part-time clinical instructor at University of Alberta. She has a special interest in soft tissue grafts and surgeries related to implant placement and repair. She is an active member of Canadian Academy of Periodontology, American Academy of Periodontology, International Association of Dental Research, International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and Indian Society of Periodontology. Dr. Nagpal is fluent in English, Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu. With her gentle touch and passion towards oral health, she hopes to give back to the community as a health promoter and educator.
