Dr. Uhlman has a keen interest in implant dentistry and enjoys helping patients explore the treatment opportunities that dental implants can provide. He spent almost twenty years in private practice in Halifax before founding Armview Dentistry in 2016. Having grown up in Mahone Bay, Dr. Uhlman studied at Acadia University, graduating with a BSc in 1992, and went on to receive a BEd from St Mary’s University in 1993. After graduating from St. Mary’s, he studied dentistry at Dalhousie University, graduating with a DDS in 1998. From 2000-2009 he served as a part-time instructor at the Dalhousie Dental School and is a member of the Canadian Dental Association, the Nova Scotia Dental Association, and the Atlantic Implant Study Club. A lifelong learner, he takes many continuing education courses in implantology and other areas of dentistry. Dr. Uhlman currently lives in Clayton Park, and in his spare time, he enjoys travel, cooking, exercise, and skiing.
