Dr Stephen Hambly

Dr. Hambly obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from McMaster University (Hamilton, Ontario). He was listed on the Dean’s Honour List. At the University of Kentucky (Lexington, KY, USA), Dr. Hambly completed his dental studies with a Doctor of Medical Dentistry (DMD) degree. Over the course of his dental training he ranked first in his class and received many distinguished awards and honours including: Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity Award for Excellence in Academic Excellence. International College of Dentists Awards for Professionalism and Outstanding Achievement. American Academy of Oral Medicine Certificate of Merit. Inducted in Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honours Society. Hinman Scholar. University of Kentucky Academic Excellence Scholarships. University of Toronto - Certificate in Advanced Restorative Esthetic Continuum. While at dental school, Dr. Hambly was involved in research studying the virus HSV-1 and it’s mechanism of reactivation. He also represented his school at the national level as a delegate to the national House of Delegates in the American Student Dental Association. Dr. Hambly has also participated in several dental mission trips to Guatemala and Haiti. Dr. Hambly worked in Lexington, KY and Burlington, ON prior to opening Ancaster Dental Care.
