Dr Batool Kazmi

Dr. Kazmi was raised in Calgary, Alberta where she completed all of her primary schooling. She graduated with a BSc in General Biological Science from the University of Calgary, and went on to complete a Master’s degree in Biomedical Technology at the Health Sciences Center at the University Calgary. In 2009 Dr. Kazmi completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Western Ontario in London Ontario. Upon graduation she was the recipient of two prestigious awards; The Pierre Fauchard Academy Scholarship Award for Outstanding Student Leadership and The Clinical Dentistry Proficiency Award. She was also recognized by the Canadian Dental Association for her services and student leadership. In 2009 Dr. Kazmi moved back to Alberta and began private practice first in Red Deer and then in Calgary. In 2016 she made the move to Kamloops, BC to join her husband Dr. Gill at Apple Grove Dental. Dr. Kazmi is passionate about oral health; while she enjoys all aspects of general dentistry she has a keen interest in fixed prosthetics; crown & bridge and implant restorations. She is firm believer of continuing education and is always updating her skills. She has been trained in Therapeutic Botox Administration by PTIFA (The Pacific Training Institution of Facial Aesthetics). She also completed CCADS (California Centre for Advanced Dental Studies) level 1 course. Dr. Kazmi is a member of the College of Dental Surgeons of BC, Kamloops District Dental Society, BC Dental Association and Canadian Dental Association. She regularly attends dental conferences in Vancouver, Chicago, Kelowna, and has been involved in numerous study clubs to further her education. Dr. Kazmi is always striving to provide her patients with the best possible care and does so in a relaxed manner. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, spin class, travelling and taking care of her two young children.
