Dr Melanie Milito

Dr. Melanie Milito was born and raised in southwestern Ontario. It was here that she developed a passion for dentistry after completing orthodontic treatment as a teen and spending time shadowing her family dentist. She went on to attend the University of Ottawa and obtained an honours degree in Biomedical Science. Combining her love for travel and education, she moved to Ireland to complete her Bachelor of Dental Surgery at University College Cork. With patient comfort, education, and personalized care at the heart of her practice, Dr. Mel believes in a conservative approach to dentistry, which means providing treatments that preserve natural tooth structure and promote long-term oral health. Our mission at Lotus Dental Clinic is to empower every patient to take an active role in their oral health and overall wellbeing. Dr. Melanie is an active member of the Canadian Dental Association (CDA), the Ontario Dental Association (ODA), and the Ottawa Dental Society. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Mel enjoys cooking and testing new recipes, travelling with her husband, and staying active! She brings the same passion for balance and wellbeing into her practice, creating a welcoming environment where patients feel informed, supported, and confident in their care.
