Dr. Kalsi completed all of her education amidst the mountains and rain of Vancouver and is delighted to now explore the lakes and natural beauty of Kelowna! She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree and Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Immunology from the prestigious University of British Columbia. Although many people find the dentist “scary,” Pavneet’s own confidence in her smile came from the strong, positive relationship she had with her childhood dentist-an experience she strives to create for each of her patients. During dental school, she was involved in clinical research, mentorship, and interprofessional initiatives to enhance patient experiences across the health care system. Her work has been recognized with many awards including the UBC Dental Undergraduate Society Award for volunteering in underprivileged and underserved areas, the UBC RBC Leadership Award in Dentistry for showcasing collaboration, inclusion, and integrity, and the UBC Impact B.C. Scholarship in Health Care Research and Development. Pavneet enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and is passionate about creating a welcoming, informative, and empowering environment for her patients.
