Dr. Harry Clyde was born and raised in the Ellison area of Kelowna where he attended Rutland Senior Secondary school and later earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at UBC’s Okanagan campus. In 2013, Harry moved to Vancouver to pursue a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at UBC. He was fortunate to get to spend a month in the summer after his third year of dental school doing volunteer dentistry at Kelowna’s Gospel Mission. After Graduating in 2017, Harry moved to Grande Prairie, Alberta where he treated patients from throughout Northern Alberta, Northeast BC and even the Northwest Territories. He developed an interest in oral surgery and wisdom teeth extractions and attended University of Alberta’s Intravenous Sedation program in 2018 where he became certified to provide IV moderate sedation to anxious patients and patients undergoing surgical procedures. He has taken continuing education on wisdom teeth extractions, root canals and gum surgery. The aspect of dentistry he finds most rewarding is helping patients when they are experiencing dental pain. Outside of work, Dr. Clyde married his wife Bre, a dental hygienist, in Kelowna in 2019. They adopted a French Bulldog named Mabel in 2022. Harry and his family are excited to finally move back home to Kelowna after many years away. Harry’s other interests include playing guitar, working out at the gym, going to concerts, travelling and wakeboarding.
