Following in his father’s footsteps, Dr. Nick Gillis worked at Gillis Dentistry for five years before taking full ownership of the practice from his father, Dr. Robert Gillis. Dr. Robert Gillis was a former military dentist and veteran with over 30 years of service experience and 20 years of experience as a dental officer in The Canadian Armed Forces before opening Gillis Dentistry in 2000. Dr. Gillis has a Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences from Queen’s University and a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Toronto. He is trained to administer all forms of sedation including IV sedation. His patience and calm demeanor will allow any patient with dental anxiety to feel at ease. He is proficient and trained in multiple aspects of surgical dentistry including single tooth implants, implant supported dentures and the removal of wisdom teeth.
