Dr. Michael Smith was born and raised in Raymond. He completed his undergraduate studies in Edmonton at the University of Alberta and then attended dental school in Halifax at Dalhousie University. Following dental school, Dr. Smith worked at the University of Alberta Hospital Dental Clinic. His position at the hospital allowed him to gain extensive experience with emergencies, trauma, special needs, dental surgery, elderly, and medically complex patients. In 2010, Dr. Smith returned to Southern Alberta to work in private practice. He enjoys living close to work and spending time with his wife Jodi and his 4 children. For fun he likes to hike in the mountains and organize firework displays.
