It was 2010 when Dr. Viktoria Yashchuk moved to Canada to begin her dental career. She graduated from the Schulich School of Dentistry through the University of Western Ontario, achieving her DDS degree in 2015. Each year going forward, she continues her learning through dental education courses in the fields of: Cosmetic dentistry, Dental anesthesia and sedation, Pediatric dentistry, Surgical placement of implants and full mouth implants based restoration starting from single crown to full upper and lower arches, Surgical removal of teeth, Gingival surgeries and micro surgeries. Previous to achieving her degree, Dr. Yashchuk took various extra curricular courses in biology, biochemistry, history, and biophysics. In 2001, she won a grant to study dentistry abroad in Poland. Later, Dr. Yashchuk completed Karol Marczinkowski Medical Science University in Poznan in 2007 with a Dean award. She completed a one-year GPR in the university hospital dental clinic in Poznan in 2008. After this, she worked as a general dentist in a private dental office in Poznan, Poland. During this period of time, she took cosmetic dentistry courses and attended a dental symposium in Poznan and Warsaw. Dr. Yashchuk speaks Russian, Polish and Ukrainian. Dr. Yashchuk enjoys all aspects of dentistry, with special attention to aesthetics, surgery, holistic, and implant dentistry.
