Born and raised in Toronto, Dr. Young went to the University of the Pacific in Northern California where he obtained his undergraduate and dental degrees (and met his classmate and future colleague, Dr. Kowthemi!). Upon graduation, Dr. Young spent 3 years in advanced training in general dentistry and oral surgery in Brooklyn and Harlem, NY and Cleveland, OH. Dr. Young then settled in private practice in Northeast Ohio for 4 years prior to returning to Toronto in 2021. Dr. Young has committed himself to staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in dental technology. He has participated in multiple post-graduate educational courses in efforts to provide the best in dentistry including surgical implant placement, hard and soft tissue grafting and root canal treatments and restorative dentistry.
