Dr Shereif Zareif Tawfik

Dr. Shereif Zareif Tawfik (known as Dr. Said), a periodontist, completed a periodontics internship at Case Western Reserve University in 2012, following which, he started his post-doctoral training in periodontics with a special focus on growth factors and peri-implant tissue. Dr. Said completed his periodontology training in 2016 at Boston University where he was a Clinical Assistant Professor in the post-doctoral periodontology department for 5 years. He transitioned to full-time private practice limited to periodontology and implant dentistry in Toronto, Canada. Dr. Said is both a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada. Dr. Said is a renowned periodontist as he lectures internationally and has published multiple refereed articles and book chapters on the topic of anterior implant esthetics, with a focus on minimally invasive and cosmetic regenerative procedures. In his spare time, Dr. Said enjoys spending time with his friends and family, playing squash and travelling to beach destinations where he has recently taken up wakeboarding as a new hobby.
