Dr. JJ graduated with a Biochemistry degree from the University of Lethbridge before attending the University of British Columbia for his Doctor of Dental Medicine (2005-2009). He was accepted into the Canadian Forces Dental Officer Training Plan, serving as a Second Lieutenant and later Captain in Edmonton until 2014. He opened Hometown Dental in Okotoks in 2016. His childhood positive dental experiences inspired his career.
