Before graduating from dentistry at James Cook University in Australia, Dr. Dusa Sorichetti obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biology degree at the University of Waterloo, followed by two master’s degrees at the University of Western Ontario. She published the findings of her dental research work in many leading dental journals as first author. After several clinical rotations in Queensland, she practiced dentistry in Toronto, Innisfil, and Barrie. She also completed various high-level continuing education courses to enhance her dental skills further and follow the most current dental therapies and procedures. Dr. Sorichetti has a strong interest and proficiency in general and cosmetic dentistry, extractions, root canal therapy, crowns and bridges, child dentistry and sedation. She is a member of the Ontario Dental Association, the Canadian Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. Durham Region has always been home to her family, where they have been active community members through sports and small businesses. When not in the clinic, Dr. Sorichetti spends time with her husband and daughter, hiking trails along Lake Ontario or enjoying meals at local restaurants.
