With over four decades of experience, Dr. Michael Barker is the founder of Main Street Dental and a dedicated general dentist known for his passion for patient care and continuous learning. After completing his pre-dentistry studies at the University of Regina, he graduated from the University of Saskatchewan’s five-year dentistry program. Dr. Barker has been providing orthodontic and Invisalign treatments for over 30 years and recently incorporated myofunctional therapy into his practice. He is a member of the College of Dental Surgeons of Saskatchewan and is deeply committed to mentoring his team and sharing his knowledge. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Barker enjoys traveling, cycling, gardening, reading, playing piano, and cooking. He actively supports local charities, especially those helping families in need, and has volunteered with several community organizations in Moose Jaw. A proud father of six—with two dentists and one hygienist among them—Dr. Barker also dreams of teaching dentistry in the future.
