Dr. Eric Granberg received his DMD here in Saskatoon. He has been a part-time faculty member at the College of Dentistry in various specialties and practices all aspects of dentistry with an interest in larger prosthodontic (implants, crowns, bridges and fillings) and esthetic treatments. “I am very fortunate to have the opportunity to provide dental care to people from all walks of life. I enjoy people and their stories, this is why I chose a “people profession”. I would say that my primary goal with patients is to help them understand their mouths. I hope that by building a relationship with them I can help patients enjoy the benefits of good oral health throughout their lives. Whether their goals be simply “keeping their teeth” or looking at options to achieve that perfect smile. I look at function first, but certainly enjoy getting great esthetic results too. One of the reasons I enjoy being a dentist is the preventative nature of our profession. I am certainly happy when I get to tell someone they have a healthy mouth and we don’t need to do anything other than maintenance. However, for those patients who have struggled with dental decay and the challenges of dental disease, I particularly enjoy the challenge of getting them comfortable, fixing their problems and building that relationship through which they can understand how to care for their mouths. Outside of the office I try to shut off electronics, get outside and stay active to shake off the work week. I grew up in Northeast Saskatchewan and I love escaping to the trees when I can. I truly enjoy our great province and I enjoy every season for whatever it has to offer. I have a busy growing family that keeps me moving. I am truly happy to raise a family in our great province and country.
