Dr. Rupinder Dhaliwal graduated from the University of Toronto with an Honours Bachelor of Science with High Distinction, majoring in Health Sciences and minoring in Physics and Psychology. He then went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry in 2016. During his dental school studies, he participated in several summer externships, focusing on Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (Parkland Memorial Hospital/Dallas, New Presbyterian Hospital/New York), Endodontics (University of Pennsylvania/Philadelphia) and Periodontics (University of Pennsylvania/Philadelphia). Moreover, he spent a summer providing dental services in Moose Factory Cree Native reserve at the Weeneebayko General Hospital. Dr. Dhaliwal strongly believes in patient education, prevention and being as thorough as possible. Don’t be surprised if you find him taking pictures of your teeth with his iPhone during a check up or treatment. It’s his goal to make sure that patients understand what is going on. He is well aware that being in a dental chair is not on anybody’s fun-list and makes it his priority to be as gentle as possible.
