Over 40 years have gone by since I started working as a dentist in Sidney and it’s now time to say farewell. It has been the great honour of my life to serve this community and I will admit to very mixed feelings about retirement. To my patients in Sidney and Victoria, you have always treated me well and I thank everyone for trusting me with your dental care. It has always been very gratifying to welcome a new patient who came our way because of your referral. I have always loved coming in to work, interacting with patients and hearing their stories. I remember walking into a conversation an elderly man was having with my hygienist about parachuting behind enemy lines in WW2! Over the past several years we have started to welcome the GRANDCHILDREN of my original patients. I am confident Trevor will be able to maintain the family atmosphere of Landmark Dental Centre for generations to come. For me, I will be enjoying prawn fishing, some woodworking projects, travelling and maybe, maybe, maybe taking up golf again. I’m putting aside my dreams of ever becoming a rock star or professional wrestler. Please say “hi” when you see me in the grocery store or out in the community. Thank you for these wonderful years.
