Dr. Courtney Mewett was born and raised in St. Catharines, Ontario. She graduated from the University of Rhode Island where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences, Summa Cum Laude (with highest distinction) while playing soccer for the Rams on a full division one athletic scholarship. She then pursued her dental degree and graduated as a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Toronto, with honours. After becoming a Dentist, Dr. Courtney Mewett was one of four individuals selected to complete a competitive multi-disciplinary hospital residency, recognized nationally through the University of Alberta in Edmonton. This residency provided her with advanced training in many of the specialties of dentistry and allowed her to introduce IV sedation, dental implants and additional procedures to Henley Dental. She is a lifelong learner and continues her education through the Kois program out of Seattle. Kois trained Dentists set a new standard for Dentistry and study the latest scientific evidence based dental systems that enable them to provide the the highest level of patient care.
