Dr. Nixon grew up in Hamilton and Niagara region before moving to London in his early 20s. Before pursuing dentistry, he was an addictions counselor working in a residential drug and alcohol rehabilitation center. Dr. Nixon decided to follow a career in oral health care while taking his Bachelor of Health Sciences degree at Western University. Dr Nixon completed his Honors Health Science degree in 2005 and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2009, both at Western University. He worked as an associate dentist in Arkona and London before establishing his practice in St Marys in 2011. Dr Nixon enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and has completed training in implant surgery and orthodontics since graduating from dental school. Dr Nixon currently lives with his wife and three children 15 minutes west of London. When not practicing dentistry, Dr Nixon enjoys golf, playing guitar and singing, and riding his motorcycle.
