Dr. Afsaneh Hosseini has studied at the Faculty of Dentistry, the University of Toronto, and has graduated as a DDS. Upon her graduation from the University of Toronto, she has continued to improve her knowledge on a daily basis by taking part in different courses. Dr. Hosseini also attended the University of Tehran, where she graduated with Honours in 1991, becoming a Doctor of Dental Surgery. In 1997, her passion for dentistry and continuing education allowed her to complete yet another specialty in the field of Prosthodontics, again from the University of Tehran. Prosthodontics includes dentistry relating to cosmetics, veneers, implants, crowns, bridges and dentures. Dr. Hosseini also worked as an assistant professor during her time in Iran. Depending on your age, the approach used to suit your dental needs may differ. Dr. Hosseini’s extensive educational and professional background as a Prosthodontist, combined with her enthusiasm in learning new techniques, gives her the ability to recognize the variety of different needs of each of her patients. Dr. Hosseini can provide prosthetic treatment and dental care for patients with jaw deficiency, i.e. maxillofacial defects, as well as disabled patients.
